Developmental editing addresses the structure and content of a body of work to improve the effectiveness of a story. During a developmental edit, I address such elements as (but not limited to):
narrative arcs, themes, and stylistic consistency
pacing and transitions
character arcs and development
Developmental editing does not encompass line edits.

sensitivity/authenticity reading
I provide sensitivity and authenticity reading for the following categories:
